Abdominal Massage: The Visceral Approach
The foundational principles of this training are derived from Chi Nei Tsang, the ancient Taoist approach to working with the internal organs, integrating time-honored wisdom with modern therapeutic application. Students will explore:
Techniques for organs within each quadrant of the belly
Support for digestion, scar tissues, restrictions, respiratory function, and overall organ health
How to help clients feel relaxed and comfortable receiving abdominal work
It includes a detailed manual with pictures and step by step guide for a 60 minute sequence. This can be a great add on to any massage or it’s own new menu item for your personal practice.
This portion of the training is ideal for therapists wanting to bring more depth, intention, and clinical value to their sessions.
Day Two on the Mat
Tok Sen Facial Massage
Discover a unique facial treatment using small wooden Tok Sen tools made of teak from Thailand. The approach creates gently vibration and rhythmic stimulation throughout the face. Students will learn techniques that support:
Relaxation of facial tension including the jaw, brow, and scalp
Improved circulation
Lymphatic movement
Stimulation of reflexology points on the face
Sinus relief and support
A fresh, grounded feeling for clients
It includes a 6 piece facial tok sen tool set with bag and manual that provides a 60 minute structured facial sequence that can be offered as a stand-alone facial treatment or easily integrated into massage, spa, or lymphatic sessions. This training offers a beautiful blend of therapeutic benefit and elevated client experience.
Both Days Offer:
Bonus Pha Khoa Ma
A special addition, students will also be introduced to Pha Khao Mha Applications that support each days area of focus. Day One Bonus includes techniques for the hips, abdomen, and lower back. Day Two Bonus includes techniques for neck and traps.
These traditional cotton sarongs add:
Creative Thai bodywork versatility
New ideas for stretching and support
Helpful tools for therapists body mechanics
A unique cultural element that enhances your work
A client experience that sets you apart in the rest
